Roots Retail proposes a 300 m² (BACS) retail space that benefits from large windows promising high visibility at the corner of Rue Jane Addams.
In addition to benefiting from the traffic generated by Roots with its three other pillars, the retail pillar capitalises on Belval’s appeal: 12,000 employees (up to 25,000 over time); 3,700 residents in the immediate vicinity (+10,000 eventually); 2,150 pupils; 6,700 students and many researchers at the University of Luxembourg and in research laboratories. Belval is also an innovative district, a stone’s throw away from the Belgian and French borders, with several places of interest such as a cinema, the Rockhal concert venue, a forthcoming national sports centre, many offices and a huge park.

Roots has been designed with the aim of minimising its environmental footprint and, in particular, its carbon impact.
Thanks in particular to its choice of a wooden supporting structure and its smart energy management (photovoltaic panels, recovery and reuse of rainwater, etc.), Roots is the pilot project for the new pan-European LCBI (Low Carbon Building Initiative) label and is targeting the BREEAM Excellent certification.
